Over the past two decades, doctors and
researcher around the world have aggressively studied
the human cells and how they communicate and function.
Their research, combined with advances in microscope
technology, revealed complex glycoforms as part of the
proteins on each of our cells. These glycoforms,
comprised of some of the over 200 different types of
carbohydrates, or monosaccharides, spell out a kind of
'language' that allows cells to 'talk' to each other.
When the glycoforms fully populate the
cells, normal cell function, defense, communication,
development and reproduction occur. When the cells are
missing these glycoforms, the 'communication' system
breaks down, allowing the body to attack fairly healthy
cells, retard normal cells development and ignore
damaged cells, often allowing them to multiply,
unchecked.
The researchers identified eight
components of the glycoforms on the cells and the term
glyconutrients was born. The findings of these doctors
and researchers, has been awarded five Nobel Prizes in
Health over the past 12 years. This discovery places
these glyconutrients in a category just as necessary as
vitamins, minerals, proteins and fatty acids. Please
